I have not used the flash much yet. I think the product is fine quality. The real downfall of this product is that the instruction manual was clearly written by a non-native English speaker. So, prepare to be mystified when you read the instructions, especially if this if your first flash.
Handy speedlite for the hobbyist who wants something better than the pop-up built in flash but who doesnt want to spend a lot on a professional or "prosumer" model. Wish it had a little bit wider range of settings, but at its price point I cant complain.
For a budget flash you cant go wrong. Fits nicely in my Nikon D7000, looks good and puts out good amount of light. Manual controls to adjust it and sturdy swivel to bounce off walls and ceilings. The beeping sound it makes is annoying but you can turn that off. Doesnt recycle as fast as an expensive Nikon or Canon brand flashes but its a minor inconvenience. Its great for someone new to using flashes and off camera lighting and buying 3 or 4 is still more than half the price of a Nikon/Canon flash
Works as expected. Bought this for my Canon 1200D about 2 years ago and its still working great. My only advice is, dont leave your batteries in the flash for long periods of time if its not in use.
It is meeting all my expectations, not being a pro, I dont have many. One of my criteria in rating is longevity, so I will return in the future and change the rating based on how long it lasts.
It works as described. A good flash for a reasonable price. I deducted 1 star because the user manual is very difficult to follow. I suggest that the manufacturer pay a native English speaker to write it.
