I ordered my first set in Jan. One of the flashes arrived broken. I ordered a replacement kit and to date, I cant use any of them. They constantly fail on me during critial moments. If i am lucky, i have to play around with how the flash is seated on the triggers and every now and then it worked.. I just couldnt breathe around it or it would stop working suddently..the very last time i tried to use them.. I played with it for 30 minutes before finally giving up. This is a total waste of money.

I have been using these for about 8 months now and I am really happy with them. I have used the remote trigger for the flash and to trigger the camera and both work great and as advertised. Since purchasing these I have also purchased some light stands and they work just fine with those as well. Other photographers that Ive loaned them to seem to be happy with them as well. I was concerned at first when I opened the package because I thought that only the Nikon cord was included but found the Canon cable (to connect the remote to the camera no cord needed when using the remote with the flash). I would buy these again.

I would give this 5 stars simply from a "Bang for the Buck" stand-point but one of the flashes seems to have shorted out after only one photo-shoot. The second time I went to use it, after powering it on the screen simply faded out. Assuming the batteries were dead, I opened the battery door and dumped them into my hand only to immediately drop them because they were so hot. I put fresh batteries in but the whole unit was obviously cooked. The other flash and transmitter/receiver units still seem to work just fine...fingers crossed

I ordered this product and when it came in, I was impressed. The only things that I did not like was that the tripod screw that is located underneath the hot shoe foot was made out of plastic and not metal. This means that it is more prone to breaking. If this is a defect and there is supposed to be a metal based coating reinforcing the tread screws, then I guess I bought a bad product. Outside of this disappointment, I was ok with the operation of this product.

Dont know why I ever spent money on the Canon brand speedlites. (Had some gear stolen so I needed a quick replacement.) These are amazing. Perfect for my location shoots. Since I shoot a lot of concert photography and offer promo pics for bands, the lightweight of this kit makes ir great to travel with. No issues so far, its been just over a month. *knocks on wood*

Great package for starter flash photography. Pros -Cheap -Wireless trigger works great -Power levels (faint to strong) -LCD screen -Speed (works up to about 1/320 ish shutter speed), its rated for up to 1/250, but 320 works. Most flashes only go up to 1/250 -Head tilt and stand work great to get all directions -Battery life lasts several hundred shots (depending on output) -Recycle time is quick Cons -No zoom, but its really not THAT necessary -A lot of cables, but im not sure if they are necessary or what, but ive done okay without them -No AF. The listing doesnt state AF, but the box does which is strange. Not a real con, but AF would be nice Overall pretty satisfied with this for the price. I was contemplating Altura and Yongnuo, and figured they all seem pretty similar, in make and characteristics. And figured why not just go for the cheaper one. These have been doing great

Great set and price. Awesome. Update 4/30/16 - one wireless transmitter started to rattle and after a 3rd use, the base shoe snapped off. The rattling was due to the screws that had come loose inside that does not appear to be fastened well. You get what you pay for. Wont buy again. I do not recommend these to anyone serious about photography.

Great equipment. I had an expensive set of flash speedlites previously that cant even compare to these. Theyre battery powered, and work like a charm. I need another set, and Ill definitely be going through Neewer for my new purchases. The slave set up is perfect. Im not that tech saavy, it was one of the easiest things Ive ever had to set up before.

As a beginner photographer, I am still trying to get these to work together. They don’t sync on any channel or any configuration. Oh well. They work well by themselves... so I guess it’s not ALL bad.
