Neewer 18"Outer 14"Inner Un-dimmable Fluorescent Ring Light -75W 5500K for Portrait Photography, Youtube Video, Make-up, Selfie (Only Light)

Like many others I had similar experience with this Ring Light. I ordered it and it arrived very promptly. The packaging was fine I didnt see anything wrong with it and I wanted to start using it right away. So I took out the light and made sure everything looked fine which it did. I plugged it in and all was working fine. I was so happy so I turned it off. The next day I wanted to use it and I turned it on then 3 mins later it cut off! In my head Im like wtf so I turn it off and back on, Nothing! I let it rest a few mins and try again and still nothing. At this point Im worried its broken so I start inspecting it a little making sure the plug is pushed all the way in and that the light it placed inside the right how it should. Still nothing. So I start to request Amazon for an exchange and I started packing the ring light exactly how I got it for returning and then 30 mins later something tells me to try it one more time. Since Id have to wait quite a time for the exchange to happen. And to my disbelief it started working again. And now Ive had it a few days and I havent had any problems but I do have a feeling this will be happening once in a while which makes it inconvenient and unreliable. Also makes me nervous to travel with it :/ Fidgeting with it did help in having it come on so I think its probably the internal part of the ring light that had issues which isnt really accessible.

Install Flash Player Although I saw a lot of bad ratings I still took the chance to purchase. It came in two days and did not take long at all. I would give the product 5 stars but when I first turned the light on two sides were very dim and it was not bright as if the light was going to go out. I was super neevous because this was expensive. I hope it does not go out. Can I contact the seller about my concerns? Please help but overall I am satisfied with the product. I am just nervous three months or two months down the line.

Came back to edit my original review which I left in tact at the bottom of this one. Updated review: Fell in love with this light from the very first use, but I had only owned it for about eight months and the light began to flicker. I have to play with it to find the sweet spot just to get it to work which is a hassle when youre just needing to do your makeup and go. Sometimes the right spot cant be found and I have to do my makeup with out it, which is frustrating. After coming back and reading the reviews Im seeing that this is a common occurrence. To sum it up: its an amazing light, but only when it works. Original review: This light was recommended to me by a friend in the makeup industry over the Diva light. From the first day that I pulled it out of the box I knew I would never again do my makeup without it. Perfect for photography sessions, even did the photos for my daughters prom party outside in the dark and they turned out beautifully!
