I cant get the battery to run out! It seems to last forever. The reachable Li-on Battery that comes with this flash is so much better than AA Batteries. Its been my go to for events. I shoot full time so its important for me that my gear works and doesnt crap out on me. This speed light is very reliable. Sometimes if I shoot too many shots too quickly I need to wait for it to cool down. No biggy. I own 2! I can also adjust this pumping the ISO and decreasing the flash output. This flash renders excellent colors especially when bouncing off the walls for a softer light effect on the subjects. I use this flash alongside the Godox X Pro-S Trigger. Together these are unbeatable for the price. I just love the results. I compared this to other flash systems and for the money this has been the best bang for the buck. My go to modifier is a 36 Rapidbox by Westcott when shooting wireless. I touch up my photos using Adobe Lightroom for colors, and Adobe Photoshop for skin. I have the R2 Trigger by Flashpoint as well. I like the Godox Trigger better. Its much easier to use and the screen is more legible. I can just click on the button associated with the Letter. Its a much better system than its predecessor.

I have been using this light for over a year now. It works flawlessly in all scenarios. I have now replaced all my name brand flashes with Godox products and have zero regrets. The li-on battery has enough to last me through a whole event or wedding. It also works great in a softbox in the studio. The recycle times are better than my previous AA powered speedlights. And no more messing around with all those batteries! I have read people having problems with a plastic shoe, but I have multiple of these and they all are still in perfect condition. Highly recommended!

I love this flash. I love the LiON battery. Its crazy that all flashes havent switched over by now. Its easy to break the shoe but thats sonys fault. The foot replacement can be done in a few minute and the part is $10.

I love this light, its pretty much a all in one for a small production. Perfect for a main light as well a fill and back light. I love the fact that I can use the lithium battery over AA. It seems like the flash last for ever, shooting events justs became great, I dont have bring a ton of battery with me. The power and light quality from this flash is bar none. A perfect compliment to any professional photographer, the only thing that would make it better is to have a modeling light.

Ive only used this a few times on some jobs and it preforms very well. Im using it on my Sony a7riii bodies. Im not sure Im seeing what I get in the EVF. I may have read something about the TTL mode not providing a true rendering with these bodies but as an event photographer the battery is all its cracked up to be. Recycle times are 1-2 seconds. Its heavier than my last flash but not too bad even with a heavy 24-70 G Master lens. Not having to swap out AA batteries often or wear a pack on ones hip is wonderful. I have yet to use it manually and will report back!

First off this flash is a great value vs the brand names. But dont expect to have this for 5 or 10 years plus IMO, unless youre very careful how you handle them. The hot shoe foot is plastic and will break. I got a light stand to shoe adaptor, it was the ones that pinch on the shoe on both sides. (Another rant for another day is that these adaptors are a standard when they shouldnt be) I could tell right away that any more tightening and the shoe would bend and break. but you need them to be tight to keep it from falling off a light stand. Ive seen sites like ali express sell replacement parts for it (Its not that hard to replace the buttom, it has 4 screws) If you are starting out with flash and need to learn and save a buck, sure get it. If these units had metal hot shoes Id say its a no brainer and skip all brand names, but sadly they do not... Sucks you have to play $500 for a flash with a brand name logo and a metal shoe for durability when these only need a simple metal replacement part... 3/5 stars. Update. 0/5 stars. It stopped flashing all together though the screen is on with a fill battery...

I would love to be able to put Zero stars. I bought it 2 months ago and it stopped working in the middle of the photo-shooting. it is not overheated at all, I was using it in low power ( 1/32 to 1/64) and it decided to stop shooting, then after 15 minutes it looked like coming back but just for 5 shots, now the day after it doest even work. The system turns on, the screen works, it reads my remote, but no light comes out. My ZERO STARS goes to AMAZON that doesnt help you so much in this cases.

If you are a Godox user, this speedlight will be an excelent addition to your gear. I own three of the V860iis and I have used them in multiple photo shoots with out failures. Missed fires will ocur when your focusing is off. When using an xpro trigger, make sure you keep it at least a foot away from your speedlight.

Still relatively new but bought this for my A7Riii and in testing it works quite well. Easy to program and lightweight. Everything as advertised - for the money, it’s hard to beat!
