First off this flash is a great value vs the brand names. But dont expect to have this for 5 or 10 years plus IMO, unless youre very careful how you handle them. The hot shoe foot is plastic and will break. I got a light stand to shoe adaptor, it was the ones that pinch on the shoe on both sides. (Another rant for another day is that these adaptors are a standard when they shouldnt be) I could tell right away that any more tightening and the shoe would bend and break. but you need them to be tight to keep it from falling off a light stand. Ive seen sites like ali express sell replacement parts for it (Its not that hard to replace the buttom, it has 4 screws) If you are starting out with flash and need to learn and save a buck, sure get it. If these units had metal hot shoes Id say its a no brainer and skip all brand names, but sadly they do not... Sucks you have to play $500 for a flash with a brand name logo and a metal shoe for durability when these only need a simple metal replacement part... 3/5 stars. Update. 0/5 stars. It stopped flashing all together though the screen is on with a fill battery...
