Works great, reliable - if you keep it between 1/4 - 1/2 power you have instantaneous recharges and you can go and go and go. I bought this to replace an Interfit Strobie at less than half the price - I carry this with a Canon 600EX Speedlight (coupled with a Quantum Turbo battery, that combination cost about $1,000 - now for less than $100, I have comparable performance. As with any flash, if you crank out a lot of shots quickly, you can overheat them - sometimes during an event that can especially be a pitfall to avoid. I use the Godox with the Canon - if one gets hot I switch to the other and can go all night with a few flash switches. For the future, I am done with purchasing expensive units - I would buy 2 or 3 of these to alternate between on heavy load jobs, otherwise, if you space your shots a little, one of these units can last you for hours and hundreds of shots. I think learning to work with the manual setting on any flash is by far the best way to go - you will have more control and learning to shoot with a manual flash setting is easy to adapt to. (used on a Canon 5D mark 3)
