I previously bought a Godox battery pack and love it. When one of my flashes died, I decided to get a Godox to replace it. I studied the different models and chose this one. When it was delivered, I was impressed with the apparent quality of build, but found that it was totally manual. I misunderstood the description when it said it would zoom up to 200 mm, which is something I wanted, as well as a high-speed flash. I found after receiving it that could only be done manually. I shoot sports and auto racing, so I dont have the time to manually change settings. I returned it and ordered the TT985c, which arrived today and does what I want. If you are looking for an inexpensive flash with manual adjustments only, this may be what you are looking for. There are cheaper ones available, and Ive owned a few, but the quality of this just feels better.

For a Manual Flash, they are great. My only issue, I use external battery pack but it still goes through the "AA" Batteries. I guess to run the Wireless and Computer takes more power than originally thought.

Nice unit, but slow to recycle. I solved ther problem by buying the adapter to allow a power pack to charge it faster
