I had purchased another brand of flash at first and they didnt work well in conjunction with my Bolt flash and Canon EOS. I returned the other brand and purchased a few of these along with a transmitter/receiver. Very happy with this brand and this particular model flash. It is simple to program, change and view the settings. The back light turns orange when in slave mode and green when in master mode. The brightness is good at all levels. I use the transceiver on top of the camera in flash shoe and its easy to read and program.
