Does not work in full auto mode for the 5D Mark III. Baffled as to why there is not an easier way to check compatibility and that a Canon representative at a store expo recommended this knowing which camera I have. Very disappointed.

Su principal atributo se queda sin funcionidad debido a la poca compatibilidad con la mayoría de las cámaras, solo funciona con cámaras de gama alta o muy reciente producción, se supone que es un flash orientado a inexpertos dudo mucho que un principiante tenga esa gama de cámaras y quien las tiene, ya cuenta con cierto grado de conocimientos para el manejo de flash, por lo tanto no es el tipo de flash que buscarían

I was really looking forward to trying out the AI capabilities of this speedlite, but discovered that the full AI feature does not work with my Canon 70D. I expect I would have rated it higher if I was actually able to use it properly. Canon and Amazon should make it much clearer which camera models this is compatible with. I didnt figure it out until after the AI wouldnt work and had to search the internet for the cause (even the manual which comes with the speedlite doesnt tell you this)

First of all, its a GREAT idea. But sadly, the best capability of this flash (the full AI.B bounce mode), can ONLY be triggered by pushing the goofy blue light/button on the back of the flash. This means that you have to take the camera away from your eye, point it at your subject, wait for the flash to analyze your subject and the room, adjust itself to the optimum position, put the camera back up to your eye, and shoot the image. This is ABSURD -- nobody is going to do that. If theres no way to activate the AI.B mode while framing your subject in the viewfinder, this (amazing) option is worthless. Canon should take the time and effort to produce firmware updates so that this functionality is available to their HUGE installed base of cameras. If they dont, they are missing a HUGE market opportunity, which is foolish!
