It is a very good concept for adding the AI function, I used it few times, it is pretty useful. In a studio setup, I am still prefer the 600ex, the AI function is good add on, its good for someone does not have much experience in bounce photography. the AI solve the big problem for many regular users. overall I am really impressed by this flash, even thought it only covers till 105mm but its enough for most of the uses!

I was really surprised of how good this speedlight is build and how well it operates. Also, the AI is really good, I used it a couple of times and its really on spot. Recommended!

Brand new to flash photography so I needed something "easy". This flash is outstanding! No thinking required, unless you want to. The best feature is how it automatically rotates to the same position if you switch your camera from landscape to portrait, and vice versa. Nice power and ability to change the output. Very happy with the flash!

I was a little bit skeptical, but initial indoor tests are simply amazing. I’m sure a professional photographer can achieve same results w/o the contribution of the AI component, but the simplicity and the outcomes are truly remarkable. Wish I had it recently during an indoor session. Two cons: very expensive (the UK price is simply outrageous), and operates in the 24-105 range only.
