I just received this and was pleasantly surprised with what I got for the value. I was looking for a replacement for my current flash which is a few years old, which was my main reason for purchasing this one - along with being able to enhance low-light and portrait shots. My other flash did not have a case this nice nor did it come with the remote trigger. I was impressed with what I received. My initial impressions is - this seems to be a great buy. Out of the box it was easy to use (batteries for the flash and remote would have been a nice bonus). The LCD makes things easy and once I do some test shots I will update the review . I did a lot of research and read the reviews before I decided on this one. Time will tell how well it performs but so far so good

Purchased this flash because of its HSS abilities and was disappointed to find out that its only HSS when attached to the cameras hotshoe. Otherwise its a great flash, 4AA batteries lasted me about 3 shoots which would be approximately 700 flashes. Wouldnt personally buy again because shooting HSS is a priority for me in my next steps in photography but if HSS is not a priority or is something you want to tip top into check it out.

Was going to buy a Nikon Speedlight, but before the doctor was about to take my kidney I decided to try this one out. No regrets. How Nikon or Canon get away with highway robbery or why their fanboy/girls spend the $$$ is beyond me. Ok, I have to get stitched back up. Crisis averted.
