Decent Speedlite Flash Bundle for DSLR Cameras. Im still trying to figure it out but definitely a great bundle to start with as a beginner. Im still learning the product so its hard to say there is anything wrong with the flash bundle. It is clunky (but any speedlite flash is honestly) and it does take a little getting used to. I just need to play with it more to get the hang of it. For most Canons just make sure you have it set at the right flash Shutter Speed of 1/250 (no faster than that) otherwise you get 1/4 of the picture darkened and you get this line across the bottom of your pictures. You have to play around with f-stop and aperature to get the right lighting desired. The only thing I dont like about this flash is how cumbersome it is to keep it on top of your camera if youre moving around. So its ok with portraits, using a tripod, not so great for photos taken moving around. Its bulky and tends to come off the hot shoe of my Canon pretty easily. For moving around Im going to adapt it so I can put a speedlight cord and hand-hold the flash instead having it mounted on the camera. This will also allow for better spot-lighting - directed where I want it to be when I take the picture. With a diffuser the lighting is soft and nice, and subject is highlighted beautifully. Without the diffuser its pretty blue and bright. Overall happy with my purchase. Not bad for less than $40. Its not High Speed flash, but alone itll do for still-life and portrait photography. Works fine with my Canon 80D.

I never owned an off-camera flash before, and this was a terrific purchase -- for about 20 minutes. The instructions were easy to follow, it worked just as described on my Canon Rebel, and I was starting to make plans for how to use it in an upcoming senior portrait session. Since it had a mounting device for a tripod, I thought I would try to set it up as a master-slave combination. I didnt know if the wireless would work, or if I would need to buy a cable (it does not come with a cable to attach to the camera). Unfortunately, inside a few minutes the flash fell off the tripod. I think this was because it was too top-heavy and awkward for the lightweight tripod I was using, and the plastic mounting bracket did not attach tightly enough to counteract this imbalance. At that point, it would no longer turn on again, even when I tried new batteries. One drop to a laminate floor, a distance of only a few feet, broke this device. I was disappointed. I contacted customer service and they responded promptly. They offered to send me a replacement if I sent the broken flash back to them. They even sent me a free shipping label. Im impressed!
