Overall I am disappointed and returned this camera. It took okay shots for landscapes and such. But when it came to people and portraits there was a lack of detail. It might have been partly due to the lens. But the 24-300 lens did not seem to be the culprit. It seemed to be the camera not producing what I felt should be sharp images at 36MPx. Sorry Nikon but now I see why the camera was discontinued and the 850 is the current better model.
