Absolutely in love with my NikonD7000. I had been around photography majority of my life but never got into it myself. That is until I bought this camera. Starting from knowing next to nothing about photography, to now having my first 2 gigs booked. Excellent beginner camera, and also excellent for the more serious photographer. Still learning something new everyday.

I am still a Canon fan but have to admit that the D7000 is a charming piece of equipment. I resisted at first coming off fantastic Canon technologies but will admit to be convinced that Nikon merits its praises.

Great camera. We are complete novices when it comes to cameras, but with a new baby we wanted photos that wernt shot with our camera phone. With very little instruction we have been able to take great photos that we never could have taken otherwise. Very are very happy with our purchase. In an effort to find a downside, I wish the lens cap was connected to the lense because I am sure that I will lose that within the next three times I use the camera. Im sure that there is a way to do that but I havent found it yet.

Just got this but so far it seems to be a wonderful camera! I wanted it because Ive seen other photographers images with this and I was very impressed. It has great features. I was able to shoot pics of my all-black dog in low light and the images look really impressive.

This camera has enough features to make me look like a professional and also enough built in tutorials to make it easy to learn what I dont know. The frame on this camera feels really solid compared to my Nikon D3100.
