This is my second d3000. I love the camera but this is my second one purchased within a year. I use my camera a lot and the door that holds the disk has a hinge that broke off . It cost 27.00 to replace . Then the camera started making a noise when I went to take a picture and would only work sometimes. Very aggravating. So I ordered another D3000 because I all ready had purchased extra lens to fit this camera and they are expensive . It was my fault for not sending the warranty in when I purchased the camera. It takes awesome photos so thats a plus.

I got this as a gift for my husband. Hes very happy with this camera. Its upgradable and has lots of options. Its not a beginner camera, but its not top-end either. The quality is very nice.

Camera is good for an entry level body, of vourse i salivate after the more expensive models
