I purchased this back in August of 2016. I didnt want to put in a full review until I had this for at least a year. Now that ive had it for a year and a half I must admit that this is the best camera I have ever had my hands on. Im not a technical photographer but more of a creative one. I tend to stay away from any manual modes but instead shoot in "A" mode. The D750 has blown me away and has helped my visions come to life. The abilities such as capturing photos in low light conditions alone had me hooked from day one. Im able to shoot my indoor weddings with ease without worrying if its too dark. Im a natural light photographer so this was perfect for me. Also you can control your camera from you phone using an app named WMU, it acts as a remote and shows you what the camera sees. I also recently did a video with my camera and I couldnt believe the quality that it produced. The lens that came with it I didnt use much just because Im a prime lens person. However when I did use it the quality of the images was very high. Its a great zoom lens for people who like shooting with them. For anyone who is wanting to thrive in their creativity and thrive in their business, I highly recommend the D750. I cannot say enough amazing things about it. Give it a try for sure, it has yet to let me down.

I am officially in love with my new camera. Had a Nikon D300 for years. There is simply no reason to buy up to the D810. The pictures are phenomenal. Higher fps than the 810. And Im finding the tilt screen VERY useful. Just took photos of puppies. The tilt screen lets me get the camera down to face level. For taking food shots the tilt screen lets me raise the camera up over my head to get top down pictures of food. But what I really love is the increased ISO sensitivity! Light too low? Boost the ISO and you can use faster shutter speeds. The dual card slots let me shoot Raw in slot one and jpg in slot two. Why is this so wonderful? Because I also use my camera for everyday photos. With the Wifi capability I can send some jpg shots to Instagram, or to a friend, and then I still have my Raw photos for editing if I choose. I use 128Mb cards in each slot. Im buying new lenses, BUT I can still use some of my really good DX lenses with it - it automatically switches to DX mode when I put the older lens on. As for the difference between 24mp pictures and D810s 36mp photos - 90% of photographers will NEVER need that much resolution. Honestly. Unless youre blowing up pictures to use as wall murals youll never miss the higher resolution. And the lower fps speed on the 810 is much more of a loss.

Certainly an "old" camera in digital years, seems camera makers are cranking out new models every six months... but this D750 is great for any photography youre thinking of doing. Love the low-light ability to get great shots. I use a Tamron 28-105 f/2.8 -- yeah, its truly a great lens on a great body. Weddings, sports, rodeos, you name it -- you cant go wrong with this body. No, I dont need or want more than 24MP as with the new models from Nikon... Most people dont need much beyond 10MP, but at 24MP this baby makes huge images and just remember -- you better have a fast computer to handle the bigger images -- 24 is not small, especially using NEF (raw) images -- you need a fast processor and lots of RAM to process these images when doing post-processing. I like the FX format of the D750 and probably wont buy another camera beyond this one as Im at the end of my photography career -- I started with the Nikon F body in 1966. The D850 (45MP) is too much MP for what almost anyone needs (unless you like a medium format type camera power in a 35mm type body) and this D750 does anything I throw at it well. Very well. Everyone has an opinion -- this is mine. Looking for a full professional digital camera? This is my choice to do it all without over doing it.

What can I say, even though this camera came out four years ago it still blew my mind. Before purchasing this camera I was shooting on my ancient D3300 I decided that I wanted to take my photography more seriously. I had been struggling to decide what route I wanted to go and, for awhile, I was thinking I was just going to upgrade to the D7500. However, after some contemplation, plus the fact that there really wasnt much of a cost difference between the D7500 and the D750, I decided I really wanted to upgrade to full frame (even though glass is way more expensive). I knew as soon as I started shooting with this camera it was the right choice. Upgrading from a D3300 to a D750 was quite the large learning curve, but thanks to the power of Youtube it didnt take me long to figure out this things quirks. Even though this camera was released quite some time ago it shoots like a champ. As cool as it wouldve been to buy the D850 I just really didnt want to spend that much on something that is just a hobby (at least for right now). Just remember that if you are going to go the full frame route glass is quite a lot more expensive, even from third part manufactures.

Arrived brand new and in pristine condition. There wasnt even a scratch on the box. The D750 functions flawlessly. Excellent low light performance, focusing on subjects in the extremely dark conditions. Paired it with the new Tamron 70-200mm SP G2, with which it works brilliantly. The ease of function is pro grade but not complicated. You can tell Nikon put a lot of thought into the menu and controls. This is an excellent camera and Adorama delivers it to you in pristine condition. I highly recommend this camera

I kept waiting for an upgrade version to this camera, for no other reason than it was made way back in 2014. I was ready to go up to FX from my DX 5100, but a good FX was just too expensive. I wanted something with a wide dynamic range, durable, and with similar features as my D5100, (ie. built-in flash, not too heavy, moveable rear screen), but no other Nikon had these features except the D750. What made me "pull the trigger", was that back in May a) I came into some money b) Nikon offered the D750 with a $900 24-120 f4 lens and a $350 battery pack for only $2K, (the previous price of the camera WITHOUT the lens and battery pack!) Well, I couldnt pass up that deal! So, I "graduated" to FF and have been totally satisfied with my purchase. As to it being such an "ancient" camera, my photos prove it is totally capable of producing high quality, marketable images with all the sharpness and dynamic range I could hope for. From what Ive read, it is, in many ways preferable to the whiz-bang D850, which is actually too much camera for most advanced amateur photographers such as myself.

This camera is a BEAST! Ive been renting it for a while now and was finally able to purchase it. I started my photography career with a cheap FujiFilm s1800. From there, I moved to a Nikon D90 and from there a D7000 (which was TERRIBLE. Sent it in for focusing issues; they replaced the auto focus motor but it still has auto focus issues from a distance so I barely use it). As I got better, I realized that the D90 and the D7000 just couldnt handle weddings (I made it work though!). With those cameras, I would rarely take them over 1800 ISO because of noise levels. The D750 though???? Everything youve read about the high ISO noise levels is true. The images of the controller I attached were taken with with f1.4 @12,800 ISO and are basically straight out of the camera (had to save them from RAW to JPG in PS first). Its still pretty wild to me how workable the noise levels are at such high ISO... Another huge pro for this camera is how much detail you can pull out of a RAW file. Clearly you want to get it right in camera first, but the fact that you can recover shadows and blown highlights so well, it gives you so much wiggle room and room for error. In my experience, wedding wise, the only con I can think to give it off the top of my head is that the low light auto focusing isnt AS good as its hyped up to be. Its really good, dont get me wrong, but Ive had times when it struggled when I thought it shouldnt have. The main reason I wont knock it a star is because I think some of it has to do with using me using a rental d750 with rental lens that are not calibrated correctly. Lastly, id like to comment on the notion that having good glass is more important than having an expensive body. While technically this is true, the body is what opens your playbook. Its like being a quarterback who is really good at slinging it around short but cant throw down the field good. Sure, I can produce a great image from a 50mm 1.4 on my D90 that I could make almost as good as on the D750, however the conditions need to be pretty perfect. This body lets you shoot in basically any type of situation without having to worry it can handle it! I dont really have much experience with cameras outside of what I mentioned so I cant do much comparing, but i will say this camera is worth every penny!

I switched to Nikon from Canon in 1998 and have never looked back. Six bodies and a dozen Nikkor lenses later I still love Nikon. I moved up from a D610 this time, which is really good, but the low light focusing became a problem for my new passion of wildlife photography. Fits my hand like a glove, lighter, better sensor and processor. Nothing but primes for this body. Have a Z6 too, but at this point the D750 is a better working body.

I have owned the D750 for a few weeks now and I am extremely pleased with it so far. This is the first FX camera I have owned, and is a much needed upgrade from my D5300. I have shot at night using long exposure and indoors at high ISO settings in terrible lighting conditions. My D5300 struggled in low light, or anything indoors that was in motion, with noise throughout the image. I needed a camera that could I can shoot landscape shots at sunrise, then take pics at a kids sporting event later that day. Let me tell you, this is it. I tried a used D800 before buying this camera, and the D800 didnt wow me like I was expecting it too. It is faster to focus than the D800 and the image quality is outstanding even though it is only 24 megapixel, compared to the 36.1 on the D800. The build quality is excellent, however I do wish the grip was a little bigger. One last thing, if you are upgrading from a dx camera like me, do yourself a favor first and invest in some real glass. Just did a 2019 calendar and out of the thirteen pics i used; 5. P900 4. D5300 2. Sony wx350 2. iPhone Out off these cameras i was mostly disappointed with the D5300. The D750 attracted my attention because the price has been lowered and may be it was time to up grade from the D5300. Reading the reviews on these boards to a person were all recommendations for the D750 and many were previous owners of DX cameras. So i took the plunge and ordered the D750 with 50mm 1.8- 20mm 1.8 and a 70 200 f/4. After sequestering myself for a few days to the dreaded owners manual i got out and started shooting. As billed the D750 is very good in low light and auto focuses very quickly , it will shoot almost as fast as you can push the button. The auto TTL flash mode is a huge upgrade upgrade over the D5300 when i first saw a pic taken inside with pets i thought it was external flash quality. I have other favorites on this camera that push it beyond the D5300. First is the controls it is so nice to push a button and then spin a dail to make manual adjustments that alone makes this worth having and has made my photography more pleasurable. My pictures look much better in the bigger FX frame which is encouraging while i go through the adjustment stage switching to full frame. Maybe a surprise like is the feel of the camera in my hand it is taller than the DX, not much heavier, same thickness and not much wider all in all it feals good to shoot with. So far so good i walk with a camera up to 10 miles a week and with the primes i have no problem. A concern i do have is the cost and weight of the other great lenses Nikon offers i do believe there is a short ceiling for me with this camera and i will be watching the mirrorless as well this year.
