Love my upgrade to this camera from a rebel xsi. The quality of pictures is outstanding. The video capabilities are very nice to have all in one camera. My current tamron lens fits it to a T. At first I thought my lens was not going to work but it turns out to be a lighting issue. If the lighting is not just right the lens takes a long time to focus. This is helpful to me since Im still learning to take great pictures. Very user friendly, easy to grab and go. I do wish the manual had more info to teach me a few settings. Would highly recommend this camera to a first time user or one that has had a DSLR before and looking for a new one under $1,000. I purchased this one for my Christmas gift.

I purchased this model to replace my 2006 Rebel XTi and it performs beautifully. The image quality is good even at very high ISO which is important when I am photographing shelter animals in poor lighting. The shutter doesnt sound as crisp and clean as my old camera, but it functions just as well and Ive had no complaints. I have yet to try out the video functionality, but this camera does everything I expected and hoped for. Solid DSLR, like most of its Rebel brethren.

Love this camera body. I already had lenses so this was all I needed. Takes excellent photos and feels really good in my hands. I anticipate this lasting me a long time!

Has all the bells and whistles you need. The only drawback is that the shutter is loud.

Works as expected. It is not super high end but more advanced than a basic camera. I would definitely recommend this camera for beginners to intermediate photographers. If you want video this is not the camera for you.
