I have owned a 7D for 8 years, but decided to sell it and get a 6D II (Full frame), but when I checked out the RP I changed my mind. The RP is light, full frame, has WiFi and Bluetooth which allows functions from a smartphone and the view finder is exactly what your lens is seeing and is easier to see in bright or dark situations. The downside is the battery, IF you have the WiFi and/or Bluetooth active; otherwise the battery will last much longer. The touchscreen control is a nice feature. When I bought my RP from a local camera shop it included an EF lens adapter so I can use my nifty 50mm lens. I did buy the 24x105mm RF L zoom lens with the camera and that was discounted as well. There arent many RF lenses at this time, but I expect Canon to start producing them soon. This investment will prove its value when I go to Alaska soon. Based upon my findings, I would recommend this camera. It is the lowest price full-frame camera you can find and it has Canon quality.

Excellent ergonomics and ease of use, but autofocus was very disappointing. Granted I paired it with a nifty fifty but it couldnt keep up with my son crawling on all fours owards me. Sold it and got an A7iii with zeiss 55 1.8 instead. Sufficient for casual shooters only who dont need good autofocus and can accept inaccurate focusing. But menu system, touch screen, articulating screen are all excellent.
