Purchased Rebel T7i July 2018. After 3 month had issues with an "Error Code 70". I also started to experience my battery draining, while in the camera, turned off. I am talking about 24 - 36 hours in camera turned off, battery was dead. Contacted Canon...I did the usual answering questions, "Yes, Canon batteries" "Yes tried different lens" etc. It was finally determined that I needed to send the camera in. Unfortunately, for me, this is warranty work Canon received that camera Nov. 1, 2018. After 2 weeks of no change, on their web page, about my repair, I contacted them, via e mail. After 4 e mails I found out that Canon had sent out for parts. No after 1 week, still no update on Canons repair site. I have been "reached out" so much by Canon, I felt I may have to invite them for Thanksgiving!! So I am "thinking outside the box" and "reaching out" to see if others have had similar experience with Canon warranty work? If other have had to wait and wait for updates. I will admit they answer e mails, social media responses, but none have any answers......
