I got this camera because I take a lot of sports action shots for the school yearbook. The camera I had been using was a SX40, which I loved in general, BUT it just wouldnt take good, non-blurry action shots. So after some research I took the leap and bought the T7i. I LOVE THIS CAMERA!! It takes such awesome action shots, and thats on just the auto action shot mode w/o me doing any manual settings. Love the fact this set came with a mono-pod. Works great to steady the camera while trying to follow all the soccer action. Id have to say the only thing that Im not in love with is having to change the lenses for up close/far away shots. (I also have an SX60 which I can just zoom back & forth with, which is much more convenient.) But overall I do love the camera and Im just starting to get to know it and learning how to do more manual settings.

I use this for photo shoots. Great camera but if I’d had it to do over I would of not bought this bundle. The carring bag is cheap and you have to break the camera Down ever time to store. The bag material is poor quality and ripped on me the fist day. My advise spend the extra money and upsize the bundle.

This is by no means a top of the line camera, but for the price and its competition, its pretty fantastic. The touchscreen and the touch to focus works great, and if you dont want to use that, you can still adjust ISO, aperture using the roll gear as well as the appropriate buttons to push. In normal lighting, it works fantastic. Pictures really pop, and using the Automatic(P) mode does all the things you want it to do. And if it doesnt, well you can auto focus it yourself simply by tapping on the screen. Normal light, works amazing. Taking pictures of lakes and mountains in during golden hour as well as clear weather with few clouds produce stunning images that a phone or digital camera simply cannot take. Long exposures with this camera for water, especially waterfalls, dont produce the smoothness one wants. At best, instead of a rolling cloud effect, shots are unable to blend the different streaks of water together, giving us what looks like multiple large streaks of water rather than a unified color. The camera also seems to have a hard time taking long long-exposures. At some point, it all seems to produce the same image, regardless of the timing you set for it, or if youre using the bulb mode. ND filters work perfectly fine with it, perhaps the ND10 filter was simply too much, and Ill have to update this later when trying it with other ND filters. Filters and lens covers and the whatnot all fit perfectly fine on the camera, they screw on easily and have had no issues about having the tread be off line or it getting stuck. Night time images are pretty solid, but then again, they are night time, so one does need to lower their expectations. In the city however, I did find night long exposures to be satisfying, and the camera does them quite well. Of course, if youre trying to take a shot with a lot of interference or just simply poor lighting, auto focus wont work. It just doesnt know what you want to focus on, and also doesnt know if the thing is truly "focused" or not, so you will see it over adjust and under adjust for what you want. Not a huge deal, it was honestly pretty expected. Switch the lens to manual focus yourself, and continue on your way. Night lighting is pretty good, but not great as one will see from a higher end camera, again, this is quite expected and for the camera type, it does great. If youre trying to capture lights streaking by, 10/10 will get the job done. However, it does work pretty darn good for light painting, also is highly recommended for that. The capacity of the included 32gb SD card holds about 600-700 shots when I save both JPEG and RAW which is more than enough for multiple photo shoots. Interestingly enough this bundle is now offered with a 64gb SD card which is a nice touch, but quite disappointing that I did only got a 32gb one with mine. It does have a time-lapse mode, and will get you about 4-5 hours on a single charge when I took an image every 10 seconds, and I got 6 hours when I took photos every 15 seconds. My results, may vary from yours. The video quality is fantastic, but as it is designed as a camera, I wouldnt expect to be vlogging or using it as an active video production camera. On the other hand, the screen does fold out and can rotate in the up/down direction, so you can see yourself if you do choose to use it as a vlogger/selfie camera. This camera also has the wireless communication feature, and it connects to the phone app when I want it to very consistently once you know what youre doing and what steps you need to take. Extremely convenient when you want to download a few good photos onto your phone or just see what it looks like on your phone. You can zoom in on the camera screen as well in case you want to check quality and make sure it isnt blurry zoomed in or the like. Now onto the bundle. The bundle was honestly much less useful than I expected. The mono-pod, I can honestly say I have never ever used it. Cant use it to do long exposure, doing anything else with it youre probably better off just holding it with both hands. Left it in the closest somewhere, and replaced it with a tripod instead. The filter kit is pretty basic with a ND4 filter I believe and a UV filter and one other. A nice touch, but I found the filters to be somewhat useless so I bring higher ND filters and the like with me anyways. The bag is a good for carrying the camera and just the camera around with its extra lenses, cleaning cloth, manuals. Fitting a tripod or anything larger than a lens seems neigh impossible. It also has just one strap, and Ive never gotten used to that feeling. It is adequately padded, and I feel confident that the bag will protect against any bumps/drops it may suffer. To walk around with it, I really dont know. Ive felt better carrying it around in a hiking daypack bundled in some extra clothes. I got the 55mm lens, but after using it for a while, I would highly recommend that others purchase the 55-250 or the 18-135 lens if they choose to be doing more landscape based shots. Having the 18-55 lens I find really hasnt been enough to capture certain images where I just wished to have that little bit extra zoom. All in all, great camera for the price, and it certainly lives up to the canon name that I expected. The touchscreen feature is huge convenience, and one of the main reasons I upgraded from a T6, as well of course the additional megapixels it gains, which is one of the reasons pictures appear so stunning. Great camera, and certainly worth the price and will do whatever you ask well if not great.

This is a great camera for a entry level DLSR or the entry level professional. Love the 18-135 lens. This will cover most needs. If you want to zoom in closer add the Canon 250 zoom. This is a great dealer to work with also. I was missing my filter and diffuser. I emailed and no questions asked I had them in a couple of days. I would recommend this outfit and dealer to anyone. For my own choosing I would change the case but I have 2 other Canons and I’ll switch cases there. I have since had purchased this outfit changed my views on some things. This is a great seller. Do business with them with trust. I just will never purchase Canon again. Go Nikon. Canon repair is a down right joke. Had a problem 7-8 months after purchase. Canon service repair is worst I’ve experienced. I could go into long details but see no sense. I’ve always used Canon. Just never needed any repair. Had I i would have switched to Nikon years ago.

For some reason amazon is having issues with letting me upload pictures of everything. So unfortunately cannot show you the quality of these items. But the two pictures that will actually load are two that I captured with the lens it came with and these are unedited. This whole kit is great! I am very happy with my purchase. The only thing is that since I do not have an attachment flash I cannot use the defusor. The back back is good: sturdy and cushioned! Good amount of pockets I can even fit my laptop in there. Adjustable Velcro slots. I could go on. I have been wanting to upgrade from the T6 to give me a little bit more to work with and this is a great camera for that! It comes with a warranty that you can fill out and even a little personal signed note. I personally would buy from them again!

This camera is amazing. It is worth every penny. I was looking for an upgrade from my rebel t1i which was hard to settle on. I feel like I definitely made the right choice buying this camera. It focuses amazingly with my sigma lens. I get great pictures with amazing clarity every time.

I upgraded to t7i from t2i in 2016. It was a great upgrade, and the features I like the most in the upgrade include the 45 focus points, low light performance, the touch and flip out screen, and the bluetooth and NFC. As a hobbyist, I have taken hundreds of great "keeper" photos for various photo styles: kid, portrait, sports, landscape, macro, architecture, product etc over the past 1.5 years. Every time I review those prints, I thought this was really money well spent and the camera is still going very strong at this point. I have also expanded my stm lens collection from the kit lens (which is super lightweight and I still use quite a lot) to the 50mm 1.8, 24mm 2.8, 10-18mm, and 55-250mm within 1.5 years. They all have been extremely impressive with the camera. Besides the camera, the bundle has some useful pieces and I personally really like the carrying bag for the camera and the lenses. At this point, the beginning of 2019, I think t7i is still a great purchase with a large collection of lenses, solid set of features, and great build quality. At this affordable price (body + many cheap but extremely impressive stm lenses), I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to go one step beyond their cellphone cameras.

Received my package yesterday. I’ve done a fair amount of research and this deal is one of the best on Amazon. Unlike some other bundles, the battery/battery charger are not OEM. The Altura accessories have high reviews on their individual product pages so I feel like I got a deal. The only issue I had was that the Canon box arrived dented (as shown in image). Camera seems to be fine.

I have had Canon cameras going back to 35mm T50 film cameras. Im not a professional by any means, just like taking pictures. The speed of auto focus on this camera is awesome. The pictures are really good. Its pretty hard to mess them up with this camera. The package I bought has nice features. Would recommend this seller and product to anyone in the market to upgrade their camera.
