I am an amateur photographer and have been using Nikon for the past few years, but am very familiar with Canon. After seeing the release and specs of the Rebel T7i, I had to make the switch. In my opinion the T7i is the best camera you can get without spending well over a thousand dollars. This camera is great for experienced and beginner photographers due to all of the available settings that will actually teach you how to shoot in manual mode. If you dont want to learn it, it has perfect preset settings for photographing things like food, kids, and alevens candlelit scenes. The new Digic 7 proccessor provides outstanding clarity in higher ISO levels, so its great to take fast pictures in lowlight situations. The video is great, Not 4k, but 1080 at 60fps allows for great slomotion. My favorite part of the camera is the touch screen, it makes everything very accessible and simplifies photography. If you get this set, you wont regret it. Shipping was perfect. Accessories work flawlessly.

First things first, I am in now way receiving anything from this review but I think everyone needs to hear it. I bought this bundle because the way I shoot photos the sling bag and the rapid fire are things I really wanted to have. I am an on the go photographer and having access to my camera but it not weighing on my neck is a must! I got the package in the mail and they had sent me an upgraded bag. Exciting Right!! But not really when you wanted the specific bag in the listing. I got a hold of customer service and they got back to me within two(2) hours of emailing and said that the bag I wanted was in the mail on the way and that they were sorry for upgrading the bag. I asked if there would be info to mail back the other bag and they said no keep it for the inconvience we have caused you. Amazing! They didnt have to do that but now I have two(2) really good quality bags. The camera is great I was really in need of an upgrade mine was 13 years old... So when it comes to the camera it is an amazing upgrade for me. The camera is easy to use and for people who dont already understand the different modes it has like a little tutor screen to tell you what kind of shots you can get in that mode and how to change settings to accomplish effects like moving water, subject focus with soft/blured bavkground. It is a neat camera and I have enjoyed it already!

Let me start by saying that Im new to photography. I did a ton of research and talked to friends who do it professionally. Everything directed me to the Canon T7i. In terms of entry level, its about as good as it gets. I bought the upgraded lens package (18-135mm) and am very happy I did. Aside from the camera and lens being awesome, the bag is very well constructed will lots of space to store the camera, lens, and accessories. The monopod seems very high quality as well (though I didnt have a chance to use it yet). I would recommend, whether youre new or not to photography, to search tutorial videos online. I found lots of useful information.

This is a great camera and lives up to the hype! But right away I had a problem with a battery that would not charge. Amazon is alway great and we fixed the issue kind of. It will take a month for the new battery to get here so new gear and can not use it! So I shopped and came up with this OAproda 2 Pack Replacement LP-E17 Battery and Ultra Slim Micro USB Charger for Canon LPE17, EOS M3, M5, M6, Rebel SL2, T6i, Rebel T6s, Rebel T7i, EOS 77D, 760D, 750, 800D, KISS X8i Digital SLR Camera Sold by: MOX Store $23.69 works great and half the price for two batteries with usb charger.

This is a great package. The T7i and the Canon 18-135mm lens go together really well. The camera interface is somewhat technical, and it isnt the kind of rig you can take out of the box and intuitively know how to use. The camera is easy to use, but there are some things to get used to first. First, you need to know that the camera has an assist mode that works though the touch screen. Second, once you are tired of assistance, you can put the camera in the "I know whats what" mode - which is a much better workflow. Third, you need to read through the manual and discover all of the features that the camera has. You probably wont want to use most of them, but there are definitely some features that you will want to exploit, and you wont even know they are there unless you read the manual. The manual is fat, but thats because there are several translations within the single manual, and it wont take too long to read through it. I already had a Rebel XTi, but this camera is far more sophisticated and is a much better instrument. The other accessories and the bag are pretty nice, but I would have paid for the kit alone at the price quoted.

Good value. I got this set for a YouTube channel. It took me a really long time to figure out which bundle to get, and I figured that if there are fewer items in the bundle, they are likely going to be higher quality. With my new expensive af camera I wanted stuff that wasn’t super cheap, so my theory was mostly true... so far I’m loving the majority of the Altura stuff, though some of it (the tripod) are on the chintzy side, and still I strongly feel like unless I missed something major, this is the best value for the stuff here.

FINALLY found a decent package for this camera. I wanted a good deal, credible seller, and extras that I would actually use. This bundle fulfills what I needed.

It has been quite a while since I’ve operated an “SLR” type of camera (dating myself, but long before the digital era). I’ve always bought canon and as usual, I’m extremely happy with our purchase. I am not an expert photographer and I don’t know the proper terminology to describe picture quality etc - I just know that I like what I see in the pictures I’m taking. The transition from digital to DSLR is exciting - I am amazed by all the options available to me with this camera. We bought the camera mainly for very “active” grandkids and scenery shots. I am enjoying familiarizing myself with this camera in preparation for a trip to Japan (to visit “active” grandkids). So far my only complaint is that it is difficult to remember how to set everything up to take my picture And don’t get me started on the instruction book! The instruction book needs an instruction book on how to look things up! All said and done - I Love the camera - I just wish my memory was good enough to allow me to take full advantage of what this camera is capable of...

So, I was into photography in the late 90s, just before digital cameras were hitting their stride. I studied photography in high school and college and became pretty proficient with color slide as well as black & white and darkroom work. I worked with a Canon EOS and several Canon and Sigma lenses. I worked as an assistant to a successful local portrait/wedding/school photo photographer as well. I say all of this because my experience level, as far as understanding photography, is pretty high. I wanted a new rig setup that matched the feel of a SLR and allowed me to think in the same "language" that I learned in. If your experience level matches mine, this is the right camera for you. If you have little to no knowledge of working a camera in full manual mode, setting aperture/shutter speed/ISO, this camera also works for you if you want better quality snapshots, or, you are willing to put in a LOT of time learning this hobby. After receiving this camera, I could immediately tell that I have a LOT to learn beyond photography - I need to learn the new "digital" language, megapixels, processing speeds, chip types and sizes, and so much more. For those of you on the fence between "taking it to the next level" and "I want better pics and more options than I get on my phone" I hope this commentary is helpful. This camera is NOT for a beginner in any form or fashion unless you are super serious about studying up, big time. As far as the product, delivery, packaging, etc: The camera box came within a larger padded box. All items were individually bubble wrapped. Within the Canon camera box itself, the items were again wrapped in plastic, tape, and bubble wrap. All nicely and safely packaged. Features: Wow, jam packed. This camera is pretty amazing. I will likely use it in some form of manual or semi-manual mode most of the time. But if Im out taking some snapshots, not stuff I intend to share beyond social media, the number of automatic options is pretty extensive. It is going to take me several months to really learn everything this camera can do for me, but based on my initial experience I can tell my photos are going to look fantastic. Package Items in this Kit: Meh, I could take or leave a lot of the kit. I wish you could build smaller kits and pick and choose options a bit easier. Dont get me wrong, its all great stuff and everyone will use some of it and discard others. But being new to the digital world, I took a leap on this package and overall it is very nice. The monopod is great, seems sturdey, yet is lightweight and compact. If I have one gripe, it would be the "backpack." That is really why I bought this kit, and I hate the backpack. It has a very strange strap design - like one that wraps around and one on your shoulders, not a traditional 2-strap backpack like you had in school. Also, pretty small. Wont hold much more than the body and 1-2 smallish lenses. I will be replacing it pronto. If you are looking for this for the backpack like me, seek other options. Overall: love this camera, love the package, fantastic features. Cant wait to learn more and get it out there in the field!

Note: I do not use video functions nor do I intend to, so I cannot speak to that part of the T7i. However, I cannot say enough about how much I love my new camera. Traded up from my old T6 that I had for nearly a year and the difference is light years ahead! Everything that bothered me about the T6 (slow auto focus, no touchscreen, no Bluetooth, etc) was instantly solved with the T7i. I watched many reviews on YouTube and scoured the internet for a good replacement, but I think I made the best choice here. 45 point autofocus with motion tracking and in camera image stabilization is absolutely phenomenal and key to snapping pics without a tripod or monopod. I often found myself with blurry pictures with my old T6 because I didn’t want to be weighted down with gear, but this is a worry of the past now. The touch screen is also vital and allows for much faster focusing in live mode and light speed navigating through the menu. You can turn off the touch screen and simply use the arrow keys like older models, but in the era of smartphones, I prefer to just touch and go. With the excellent auto focus and superior MP count (24.2 vs just 18 on the T6), the picture quality is noticeably better without much extra tweaking. I know some other people will have gripes about video or sound, but for a landscape/city photographer, the T7i is perfect. The extras you get are just bonuses on top of a great camera.
