I want to produce YouTube videos in the near future. I already own a good (Sony) camera that shoots good video. But I need one that accepts an external microphone. There are way too many videos posted that have poor audio and I dont want to be one of them. I did a lot of research before I bought the Canon T7i. All indications were that it would do everything I need from a camera. I purchased a shotgun mic in addition to the Canon camera kit. It is a great camera and exceeds my expectations. A long time ago I was a professional photographer - shooting mostly 2 1/4" film. This new digital camera system is lighter, more versatile and produces pictures that are as good or better than my old film gear. The Canon T7i is a winner !

Have never experienced such poor product support from an Amazon vendor. First, this camera was a birthday gift. My birthday is June 4th and it is not yet July 4th. I am new to interchangable lenses and decided to teach myself about the new camera before trying the lenses. A couple of weeks later, I open the accessories to find one damaged lens (the 2x vivitar doubler) and a remote shutter release that doesnt work. So I wrote them. They refused to rectify the situation because the 30 day warrantee had expired. I wrote the manufacturer, which isnt Canon, BTW. Still hoping someone will make this right. Count me deeply disappointed.

I love this camera!! The photographs are sharp and very clear. The camera and the Canon lenses would cost this amount without all of the extras. Some of the accessories are good others not so much, I consider them to be freebies anyway. The camera bag I received is very nice, its high quality. The screen protectors were unusable because they were creased. The screen cleaning spray leaked and was half empty, its lucky the only thing damaged was the box it came in. The small tripod held the camera body just fine. When I added the small lens, it felt like it would tip over. This is a great camera. I would recommend it to anyone who would like a professional quality camera on a budget. I took it out today and took pictures of my sister and her husband, they turned out beautifully. I think I would have been happier buying the body and a great lens. Get the video kit that includes the mic, the T7i is geared more toward shooting video anyway. What I did not like: (and threw away) - The IR remote is not compatible with the T7i. - The flash is very light weight and one of the modes does not seem to work/compatible. The T7i has a built in flash - 2x converter and macro lens adapter add too much vignette or reduce image quality. I held these for later use and practice - The tripod is of low quality, very flimsy. Bought a good ball socket tipod for 65. - included filters are OK, would have preferred ND set and CPL as opposed to UV and Fl filter, picked up a stand alone filter set for 25 What I liked: - 2 32 GB SD cards, most kits gave a 64 or a 32 with some other add on, I like splitting my shoots over multiple cards - The bag is nice and has room for more stuff, very easy to grab and go. - The 55-250mm lens is good for starters but youll be wanting something better very soon, was nice to have right away. - I wanted it that weekend and it was in stock

The camera, two lenses, bag, sd card are all good. The seller is ripping people off with the flash, which failed to work with the camera, the remote which the camera rejects (it cannot have IR remotes) and the tripod, which is solid as a rock. The UV filters are horrible. On the plus side... The camera is great and legit; the second lens is my favorite, the bag is nice and can fit my camera, two chargers, three batteries, three lens, three lens hoods, etc... Over all, a great buy, but what sucks, IS HORRIBLE. Items which are good are amazing.

The Canon EOS Rebel T7i and the Canon lenses are great! ... the SD cards are OK ... the remote switch didnt work...the 2.5X converter is total garbage ... havent tried the macro yet ... I suppose I could use the tripod on a GoPro or lighter camera ... The camera case was sufficient ...Im sure the garbage in the package was used to jack up the price...most of it was useless ... but the camera and lenses, sd cards and case were worth the price. I upgraded from a Canon EOS3 35mm film camera and can use my Canon lenses from that camera with the Rebel T7i with no problems. I purchases a larger case to carry everything in and have a video light and accessories on order to complete my package. This package should handle 90% of my photographic situations.

Im not a professional but I wanted to take pictures of my son, vacations, and landscapes without taking out a mortgage for a camera. I have a Cannon T3 is a welcome upgrade. While not everyone needs all the features of this camera there were a number of features that I found useful. The touchscreen is much nicer than having to go through the buttons, which was great when I was getting picture of the Northern Lights. The 256000 iso is probably overkill, it makes pitch black look like day time. You can get some pretty good results pretty much out of the box but learning to manual mode will take it up a notch.

So far this is a great camera and lens set. There are a couple different sets for sale and I did choose the kit that suited me best. Delivery was on time and packaging was perfect. I would have given it 5 stars but for a couple issues. First, the camera bag that came with this kit is terrible. On one of the side pockets the zipper separated and broke as soon as I pulled it out of the packaging. And the center padded handle is stitched on crooked and more to the one side so when you grab the bag by the handle to carry it holds lopsided and awkward. Also, this bag is very deep, creating a lot of storage, but only if you stack things on top of each other. As much money as cameras and lenses cost I would prefer a wider rather than taller bag so I dont have to stack to carry all my stuff. Also, the material is very thin and flimsy, it doesnt instill a whole lot of confidence in safety. Second, this comes with two Cannon lenses both lenses are great and exactly what I wanted but it only comes with (1) clear UV filter. Most everyone installs a clear UV filter on all their lenses. It helps with the UV light and is an excellent lens protector. I knew it only had one filter when I ordered it but this kit would definitely be better if it came with two. My opinion. The filter is on me, I knew it ahead of time and still ordered it. But I would definitely return the bag if it didnt mean having to package this whole set up and send it back.

This is a great camera, i switched from a rebel t3i that served me very well, and i also have a canon 6d mark ii which is a more professional grade camera. The rebel series are very easy to learn, easy to use, and produces high quality images. They dont excel in low light situations, but some of my best work has come out of the rebel series and i adore my t7i. I have done very well with the 250mm kit lens. I dont really use any of the extras, just the the cleaners and the dust blower, the lens additions arent that great but fun toys for beginners i suppose

Bought this package for an overseas trip. Love the camera which is great for beginners through professionals. The two included canon lenses are also very nice. Package is probably worth it for that alone, as the accessories were pretty cheap. Tripod is plastic and wobbly; detached flash is cheap. The 2x telephoto extension is worthless, not sure why they would include this item in almost every package - it does double the focal length but images are nothing but a blur and auto focus is challenged. Overall though happy with the value.
