The only reason I bought this kit was because the bundle cost the same amount as just buying the camera from Canon. So, I figured why not. As many people have complained, the brands that are listed and shown in the picture are different than what you receive. Plus a lot of the items are so cheap that they are basically worthless. What didnt work: The wireless remote never worked once. The two extra lenses do not produce sharp photos. When pictures are enlarged the lenses cause a lot of blurring in the photos, so if youre interested in enlarging the pictures to put on a canvas or to frame the quality may not be the greatest. The mini tripod is a flimsy little thing that can barely even support my phone (dont attempt to use it unless you want scratches on your camera). The USB memory card transfer only worked once and I havent been able to get it to work again. What worked: The two memory cards have worked great and I have not had issues with corrupt files or anything and theyve received heavy usage for a few months.The best thing about this kit is the bag. Its quite sturdy and it well padded with decent size pockets on either side. The inside also is nice as there are padded inserts that are Velcro, so you can move around the inserts so that it fits your equipment and camera. The large tripod isnt bad though the strap on the carrying case could be longer. My sister and brother in-law had bought me a Targus tripod and the two are literally identical. So the tripod is on par with mid-range tripods. The quick release feels a little loose and it makes me feel nervous walking to far away from the tripod. And of course the camera and battery which are from Canon work just fine. This kit would be decent if you have a younger individual who is interested in photography and you want to make sure theyll take care of the equipment and are truly interested in photography before buying the real deal equipment.

This is an awesome camera! most of the accessories are pretty cheap however the bag, tripod, and (of course) camera/lens are great!! the bag is pretty padded and doesnt look that cheap and the tripod is surprisingly sturdy! there was a review saying the pocket tripod didnt hold anything, not even a phone, but that is a very untrue statement because it holds my camera (affectionately known as Fred) up just fine!

Received this week and have only shot photos indoors so far - so mainly leaving this review for bundle not so much for camera performance. Every is as advertised and received quickly. Large tri-pod is OK, a little cheap feeling, but does the trick. I tested the SD cards and they will also do the trick. Remote works as advertised, wish this worked in all camera modes, not just countdown mode, but this is more a Canon thing than the remote. Filters and lenses are good. Four stars instead of five because I would like more than one battery with this bundle. If you get this bundle, which I do recommend, I would get another battery or battery kit.

This is my first DSLR so I cant judge picture quality, Im still learning the manual controls. Though I did buy it based on the recommendation of others. I give it only four stars because I am not finding the controls to be as intuitive as they could be. Otherwise, I am really happy with the camera and the fact it was a one stop start up.

The camera is perfect. It was brand new, in original packaging. This is a great deal. Id recommend this to any new photographer who doesnt yet have the additional equipment that this provides. However, Id recommend upgrading the flash, tripod, and lenses when you can. -The items that arent "Canon" are poor quality. The additional "lenses" arent lenses. Theyre extensions and dont work properly with the canon lens provided. -The external flash is cheap and has parts inside that rattle. -The bag is nice and has plenty of room to store everything and its well padded.

PSA: The kit comes with ONE lens, the other things are filters that screw onto the lens and they do not work well at all. Its false advertising. Works great for beginners or people that want more quality than the average point and shoot. If you want really crisp images maybe look into a different camera. If youre beginning Photo as a real hobby and interest, DO NOT buy a kit. It seems like a good deal but in reality, youre wasting money you could be spending on a lens, on cheapo junk you can live without. I wish i knew this before buying the kit.

Everything came in the bundle as expected and were very pleased with the camera and quality of the bundle items. My only slight complaint is about the lens attachments. While they DO work, if you dont zoom in a little bit then you can see the edges of the lens attachments in your photos.
