I am in love with this camera! It has everything you need to take professional photos, starting with the QUALITY! Another feature that I really like about this camera is it comes with WiFi so any photos or videos you take on the camera, go straight to an app you can download on you iPhone or smartphone & you can instantly save them right to camera roll! I bought this as an upgrade from a Rebel camera bought in 2005. So it was easy for me to use since I had years of experience with the design. Battery life - too early to tell. Picture quality is great compared to my other rebel. It is feature packed. Still getting familiar with them. I got the "for dummies" book on this camera. It is a great resource for tips and tricks on how to use the camera and accessories.

Im a photography student at the community college where I live and I was using a cannon rod rebel x that someone gave me. Unfortunately the 16 year old camera junked out and I needed a new one. I decided to go with the t6 because Im still a new photographer and for my needs it would be a perfect camera for me. I ordered the next gen Canon EOS Rebel - I already have the T5 and ordered the T6. Order came quickly, great price, works great, and best of all, I already know how to operate it because I am accustomed to the T5. (Board on my T5 needed replacing so now I have a new camera and a spare!) Love Canon cameras - this is an entry level but I get great pics, the lens I already own will interchange between both cameras, and I get good feedback on my pics. Im a happy woman.
