Happy with the purchase except for the following: 1. The 18-55mm lens is disturbingly loud during autofocus. Forget about ever shooting home video with this lens on. 2. The autofocus in low light takes forever and many times does not lock on at all. I learnt to use the manual focus on both the 18-55mm and 55-250mm lens but it has been a hit and miss so far. I am not knowledgeable enough to know if the autofocus in low light is a problem of the lens or the camera. My first DSLR. Regardless, from an end user experience and expectation point of view, I had to knock off a star. Bought this on a terrific deal from amazon where they had the camera and 18-55mm lens at normal price and had 150 off the 55-250mm lens. A free camera bag and 16GB SD card sweetened this deal further. Got the package for $200 less than you would normally find it. Great deal from Amazon. The free SD card was out of stock so I had to reach out to an Amazon service rep on the phone to get credit for the same card from another link on their site. He was quick and courteous.
