I love the camera, it is absolutely great and feel that for me, because I am startin into photography an vlogging, has been an excelent option. I am not a pro, this is my first DSLR. The star is lost because of the following: 1. When you see the picture, I my had had the wrong idea about two lenses and even two batteries with charger. The pack only has the camera (body), 1 lens and q battery with charger, all included in the EOS Rebel SL2 combo. If you want an extra battery or charger, you need to add them. (I know this is my fault for not reading thoroughly of the description) 2. Macro lens is not suitable for the camera. If you use the macro lens, and even in some cases the telephoto lens incluided in this combo, you will see the edges in the photo, even if you zoom in all the way. 3. The full size tripod was extremely unstable, I was not going to use it, but I took a screwdriver and fixed it. Now it works fine, but out of the box was totally unusable. 4. The kit incluides a “universal control” that does not work with this camera. Apparently, the Rebel SL2 no longer has infrared, the controller that you need is bluetooth, so that was a waste. I am not taking more stars because the other stuff is good and for $30 additional you get a lot of stuff. I think that some of the additional products are low quality but some of them (the bag, the table tripod, the SD’s) work great.

The Camera: So far I am very satisfied with the camera. It takes technically superb pictures and the menue system is easy to figure out. This is my first Cannon DSLR and I feel right at home with it. The kit: I purchased the kit because I needed most of the contents to get by for the first few months of my productions. The gear is of cheap quality which is fine for me and will be fine for many people. Most importantly of note: the lenses offer a minor adjustment to your images, the tripods are flimsy but do the job. All in all I rate this a 5/5 because the whole package was everything I expected and more
