Hi, My name is Lance and often times when I read reviews I never know how much merit to give them because I dont know who is the reviewer. Well. I am a senior getting an undergraduate degree in college. I have a high GPA and I am extremely involved. I say this so you know I am a reputable source. This camera is much nicer then my previous Canon Rebel t3i. I wanted something around 1500 to shoot video and photos at high-quality resolutions. This camera does that. My biggest issues were the focus points. After I bought it I realized that I really could not live with how the focus points were set up. There are a lot of other cameras out there and some of them now knowing how focus points covering the whole screen. I went with Canon because I have always used a cannon. With this being a Full frame camera I was going to need new lenses anyway. This camera is not worth it unless every picture you take you to put the subject in the center otherwise you will end up with out of focus pictures. I guess my conclusion is that it seems like Cannon is not innovating new technology as much as other brands are. I dont mean any disrespect but they put the autofocus system from the 80 D with an APC sensor into the 6D mark II which is a full frame. All the focus points really are in the center. it is a real bummer. I decided to send the camera back and that cost me 80$. I am really disappointed that I was not sent a label with postage paid for. They should be able to do better than that on an 1800 dollar camera. Amazon and cannon, Im disappointed in you both. :(
