Great option for beginners. Takes excellent pictures and like most DSLR cameras, it gives a lot of room for editing and post-processing (just make sure youre shooting in raw, not jpeg). Would recommend getting a prime lens to go with this if on a tight budget.

Love that I can use the camera connect app to operate the camera and view photos on my phone instantly. Took a few tries to figure it out, but it works.

I have owned Canon cameras all my life, and recently treated myself to this one. This camera is so easy to use, it features a large information screen with setting tips that make your shots effortless. A great camera for a beginning photographer. The quality of the images are fabulous, the ease of changing settings, lightweight, fits in the hand and just takes great pictures. If I had one complaint it was the video settings... these were a bit difficult to find, and I had to practice a few times, so taking videos was a touch more difficult. Love the fact that the lenses and filters from my old camera (yes, the one that used film) work on this camera. The ability to upload using wi-fi is also a plus - long battery life, and the mobile/computer apps are quite robust.

When I opened the package I see this product is used and I felt like returning it back but I need it for my vacation. Lenses is not properly covered with bubble wrap. The worst part is the neck band is also missing some rubber lockers.

I love my new T6 - its everything Ive ever wanted. The body weight is just right to where I can have it dangling around my neck all day and my neck isnt sore. The details it picks up is incredible! My black pug is very difficult to photograph but this camera is able to do it with ease! I love it and highly recommend its a purchase you wont regret!

Perfect intro level DSLR. Plenty of awesome source material out there to get going and get shooting. Tons of instructional videos on YouTube for free so no need to waste money on classes if there is a particular area of skill you want to "focus" on - sorry lol! Awesome quality given the brand and a veritable trove of accessories and lenses to pick from when you want to up your game. Remember its not about the equipment at the end of the day, its all about your own skill and know-how as a photographer. You could have the most expensive, mirrorless, digital, precision wrought camera in all the world that would still take shoddy photos if ones skill level was low. This camera is a perfect entry level to stepping up your game as a serious photog, as a youtube content creator and a plethora of other creative endeavours. If youre new to this type of camera set up the initial learning curve might feel a bit tough but its very adaptive and super easy to navigate once you do. One piece of advice would be this: buy and extra battery so you always have one on charge ready to pop since waiting around for a single rechargeable power pack to be ready will totally wreck your stride and other field testing, it sucks to have to cut short a really good project simply because you ran out of juice.

We bought this for our son, who has had an interest in learning more about photography. He really likes the different options on this camera, as well as the WiFI capability. There are lots of special effects and settings to try out, and since its digital, if it doesnt work, its easy to delete and try again. He thought he wanted an old school 35mm, but now he says hes glad he has a digital instead.
